Shelter to Focus on Making A Difference
A well-known Melbourne real estate agent has launched her own business, which will not only take a unique approach to selling homes, but also aims to build homes for the less fortunate.
Zali Reynolds, who has been in the industry for nearly two decades, brings her extensive corporate experience to the new Glen Iris Real Estate Agency, Shelter Real Estate, located on Glen Iris Road.
“I always dreamed of starting my own real estate business that isn’t based around materialistic aspirations,” Ms Reynolds said.
“We’re a boutique brand with a unique approach to selling homes in the new digital age. We also want to give back and aim to build 100 homes for those less fortunate through our partnership with Global Village Housing.”
In her many years at the forefront of real estate in Boroondara and Stonnington, Ms Reynolds has seen and adapted to the many changes that have taken place both in Melbourne and within the world of real estate.
“My corporate experience has been invaluable in teaching me about systems and processes, but we are able to break away from bureaucracy and decisions that take forever,” she said.
“We’re quick to adapt to industry changes and new technologies and this will be incredibly effective for our clients.”
Ms Reynolds said she established Shelter Real Estate with three core values: be a good human, make a positive difference, and find enjoyment.
“These values underscore everything we do,” she explained. “We love property and we have fun doing what we do.”
The Shelter Real Estate team is made up of several other established real estate professionals, including Todd Braggins, Victoria Wolk, Natalie Hall, Grayson Raynor and Shaneah McDowell. CEO Daniel Reynolds, a former Digital Executive at Australia Post, will oversee the business’s commercial operations.
